For those of you who do not know...Becca and I were paired as roommates at the beginning of our college career. The story is quite funny. You see, I found out that my roommate was from New Jersey, and all I could think about was Snooki. Red flag. I could not find her on Facebook. Red flag. I saw that her hobbies included making friendship bracelets. Red flag. She had not given a cell phone number to reach her. Red flag. Her email was firstname.lastname@example.org.... Red flag. After reading about the friendship bracelet making, I figured she was no Snooki...and she found me on Facebook. I got her phone number and we moved in together. I never knew that so many red flags would prove me wrong.
Becca is my very best friend. I thank God every single day for our friendship. College would not have been the same without her. She made me a friendship bracelet, and I still have it. I love that she is a bookworm. I can always count on her to make me laugh, smile, and have a good day! It feels like yesterday that we moved into the dorms, and now we are both getting ready to graduate! God has already used her to impact the lives on little ones in the Springfield school system. I am so proud of her and cannot wait to see her work in the lives of the children who will be attending Field Elementary. Becca, you are amazing. Love you dearly!
