How did you meet?

“We first saw each other down in the training room at Evangel [University] because we were both injured. However, we didn’t truly meet until a mutual friend of ours had us go out on a double date.” - Chance

What is your go-to date night?

“Our go-to date night usually has something to do with food (usually Rama Thai) and then followed by either bowling or a movie. Or sometimes we will just go get Andy’s and drive around and look at houses together.”

- Mckenzie

Describe your fiance/fiancee in 4 words.

“Kind, patient, loyal, and downright handsome!” - McKenzie

“Overcomer, affectionate, brilliant, beautiful.” - Chance

What do you love most about your partner?

“Regardless of who it is, Chance treats everyone with respect and kindness and it is something I’ve always admired about him. The grace he so effortlessly gives is a daily reminder of what Christ’s love for us is like. I could go on and on, but those are just a few things.” - McKenzie

What do you love most about your partner?

“I love that she is real, real to herself and to others. Honest at the core and determined. Above all else she is so strong, physically, mentally, and emotionally, one of the strongest people I’ve ever met.” - Chance

Why did you pick your wedding date?

“She has always dreamed of a Christmas wedding, and that’s as close as we could get.” - Chance

What does Chance do that makes you laugh?

“Something that makes me laugh the most is when Chance missays a word so confidently. I will literally sit and think about it and just start randomly cracking up!” - McKenzie

What is the craziest thing you have done together?

“The craziest thing we’ve ever done would probably be climbing the billboards together. It was back when we had first started dating, and Chance thought it would be super romantic to look out over Springfield together. Little did he know that he was actually afraid of heights and by the time we got up there he was glued to the railing the whole time.” - McKenzie
